More info:
Alpaca fleeces are known for its density and crimpy appearance that resembles the animal a "teddy bear" look.
The fibre is known for its softness, warmth, and durability. It's lighter and warmer than sheep's wool, and many consider it hypoallergenic because it's lanolin-free.
The fibre is strong and durable, suitable for various garments and textiles eg weaving, crocheting, knitting to make products such as hats, scarves, sweaters, blankets, rubes and other home textiles.
Alpaca wool is water, wind, odour and stain resistant.
Alpaca fleece has natural water resistance due to its hollow fibres and ability to wick away moisture. The fleece holds less weight in moisture and dries quicker when it does get wet.
