This is an extremely high spec, unused 10ft. ( ̴3m)
Endevco cable, originally supplied with a transducer but never taken out of the
bag. It's rated for temperatures up to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C) and,
according to their web site is intended for use with charge accelerometers and
suited for high humidity environments. On their web site they say this cable is
for 'mission critical' applications.
The following is copied from the datasheet:
"The 3090DV is a uniquely designed premium low-noise
cable for use with charge mode piezoelectric
accelerometers. The extruded cable jacket and hermetic
connectors make this cable ideal for use in
high humidity environments. Because of the rugged
construction, this cable can be used in a wide
range of applications including laboratory, space, launch
vehicles and other severe environments.
The cable connectors are manufactured in-house using a
glass-fused dielectric providing a hermetic
seal and superior mechanical strength. The hermetic
connector, along with the extruded cable,
provides an outstanding device for use in humid
environments. The center conductor pin is welded
(not crimped) to the cable’s center conductor providing
maximum strength and low noise. All critical
parameters are 100% tested and the cable capacitance is
measured and recorded; an important
parameter for long cable lengths."
As I said it's in unused condition and I only took it out of
the bag to test it with a 4371 attached to my Nexus amplifier. Of course, it
works perfectly. It even comes with the original cable markers unused.
It comes complete with the little spanner for tightening the
connector.
Setting a price of only £25 (no idea what
the price from Endevco would be but it would be a lot, lot more!)
