Portable Air Conditioner Top Window Outlet Adaptor

The "ORIGINAL" most simplest and easiest to fit, Portable Air Conditioner Top Window Outlet Adaptor with ducting kit if selected, just connect your 5" 125mm flexible ducting hose to the adapter with either hose clips or ducting tape, open the top opening window and just hook over the window frame, it will fit over window frames upto 3" 75mm thick, then just pull the window closed until it touches the hooked on adapter, the window frame supports the whole of the adaptor and flex, you dont have to wedge it under the opened window to hold it in place, which in some cases can be easily dislodged

Airflow Design Specification

These are designed for the correct airfow, with a large 210mm x 65mm rectangular outlet, this is the same ducting section that is used on high airflow Cooker Hood Systems handling high volume flow rates up to 500M3/hr.

Warning, be careful

A lot I have seen on Ebay are made with a slot far too small for the airflow required, which will restrict and affect the extracted hot airflow and could even damage the Portable Air Conditioning unit with the added back pressure and lack of exhaust, it could overheat and fail (breakdown), it certainly wont be working as efficiently as it should, please be careful, these are expensive machines we are fitting it too

Manufacturing Design Specification

The kit consists of strong, well made light grey window outlet using  quality injection moulded PVC fittings, very very strong and will last many years, they are much thicker than the 3D Printed versions now avaiable, Typically ours weigh approx 1.2 Kg with a long round to rectangular transition to help the airfow and the 3D Printed versions weigh approx between 275 to 300 grams. If selected the window outlet comes with a long lasting PVC/ALUMINIUM Combi Flexible Ducting Kit, the Light Grey TOP Window Outlet (not suitable for Tilting windows, will not fit)

The one I have on my Portable Air Conditioner is the very first one I made and the air conditioner is still working as it should some 15 years later

A Black PVC/Aluminium laminate Combiflex duct specially designed for the Commercial Market. Suitable for low/medium/high pressure Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Supply or Extract Systems

Suitable for use in domestic ventilation of tumble dryers, bathroom/toilet extractor fans, and cooker hoods .

Lightweight and easy to install

The kit includes 3 or 6 metre of Black PVC/Aluminium Combiflex flexible ducting, to enable extention of existing or replace a short length, Male Metal Connector and 2 Hose Clips to joint to the existing Air Conditioner outlet, Flexible Duct or adapt the outlet

Comes complete with a HOOK ON 5" ducting outlet adapter fitting, to fix to a Top Opening Window or Quarter Light Window, designed and sized for the correct air flow to allow the hot extracted air to be easily directed outside.

 **Not suitable for TILT and TURN Windows** and not like some I have seen where the outlet slot is far too small for the amount of air being extracted.

Note :- **When installing cut to your required length and always ensure flex is fully extended with as few directional changes as possible to help with exhaust air flow**
