ITEM DESCRIPTION

This is an antique gold plated chronograph pocket watch with a nice white enamel dial with a 2 smaller dials at the top and the bottom. Centre seconds feature too.
The dial and movement are not named.

The inside of the outer case is marked STAR with serial number 309874.
The inside of the inner case is marked English Make This case Guaranteed to wear 10 years with matching serial number 309874.

There is a small spring like part LOOSE in the movement. I have put it in a separate package within the package of the watch as not to loose it. See photo of the part.

Crown wind and a push button at the top to stop and start the centre seconds. It is fully wound. The enamel dial is not cracked but the glass / crystal plastic has scuff marks so it makes it looked cracked. Main hands are blued, as too are the smaller 2 dials and the centre seconds is fine gold.

The back case is very worn and has worn off the gold on the outer edge. Front case is good and the |||||||||| design around the case is good.

Movement has an inner dust cover. And movement is clean signed SWISS MADE. Numbered 8950 near the balance wheel. The push button works and you can see the parts inside moving as its being depressed.

The balance wheel is weighted, hairspring in situ. I cannot fully determine if the balance staff is broken or not to be fair. Sometimes they are easy to decide as they move about all over the place, this one does not when you gently move it with a pin. It moves as it should if it were ticking.

It is sold as SPARES or REPAIRS only.

Normal signs of age and use wear including some surface scuffs and minor impact marks etc.
The gold plating is quite worn on the back of the case as well as the crown and suspension loop.
The glass is a bit scuffed and scratched as shown in the photos.
Please see close-up photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself.

The case measures approx. 50mm in diameter x 70mm long including the suspension loop x about 14mm deep from the back case to the top of the glass/plastic. It weighs approx. 96grams.

Postage policies:

International overseas buyers please read this first - I use eBay International Shipping - (EIS) to send items to you. All items I send to their UK shipping hub and they are processed and forwarded onto you.
EIS sorts any paperwork, taxes and tariffs  etc. which enables items to get through customs much faster than other delivery companies.

EIS then decide on the cost of shipping, sales tax, and possible other charges etc. - All this information can found on the listing when bidding or buying.
I have no control over the prices that EIS set to you.

The shipping time is usually very quick but as you can appreciate there may be delays for any number of reasons which are out of both mine and your control. Thank you.

14 day REFUND policy with antique and second hand goods. NOT 30 DAYS.

To see ALL my other 8000+ items for sale, please click on VISIT SHOP or see other items. Strangely, both options seem to only give a limited view of what I have to offer, so to see everything I have available, click on Shop by Category which will give you a much better view.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal sized Coke can (330ml).

If you see A/F = a/f in the title or description it means "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F  for " as found " for 50 years.

To be fair to all bidders I do NOT end auctions early, so please do not ask for a buy it now on an auction item.
