With its impressive canines measuring up to 8 inches, the Smilodon holds the place of the most powerful feline that has existed. He is nicknamed "saber-tooth tiger". Appearing about 2.5 million years ago in America, this predator was to live as a clan and hunt like current lions. The Smilodons could attack large animals such as bison or young mammoths, which they had to hunt in groups. The last Smilodons died 10,000 years ago.

This prehistoric Smilodon figure is hand painted and highly detailed with a natural color-scheme that replicates the real animal, making the figure extremely realistic looking. Due to being hand painted, each animal figure may look slightly different. The measurements are approximately 6.2" L x 1.8" W x 2.4"H. Papo figures are made out of a synthetic material.
