What u see is what u get there's a few spaces on the outside that do not have weights in them I don't know if they r left empty and u switch them around or they r supposed to have weights in them see pic  I would say they r left empty because it's under the arm and back same area I weighed and vest weighs just over ten pounds looks to be new
