The Koolpak Luxury Hot & Cold Reusable Pack is designed for everyday hot and cold therapy, offering a practical reusable option for minor injuries, muscular pain, joint stiffness, swelling and inflammation. It can be heated for soothing warmth or chilled for targeted cold therapy, making it useful for home first aid, sports recovery, workplace supplies, schools, clubs and general recovery needs.
The 12.5 x 25.5cm oval gel pack is suitable for use on areas such as the knee, calf, thigh, shoulder or back. The soft flexible material moulds to the affected area, helping provide comfortable contact during use. The red and blue sided design helps distinguish between hot and cold application, making the pack simple to use when switching between heat therapy and cold compress treatment.
Use hot to help relieve muscular pain and joint stiffness, or use cold to help reduce swelling and inflammation after minor sprains, strains, bumps, knocks and sports injuries. The pack remains hot or cold for up to 30 minutes and is reusable, making it a convenient alternative to disposable cold packs.
For hot use, place the pack in a microwave and heat for 20 seconds at 850W. Massage the pack to disperse the heat evenly, then continue heating in 5 second intervals if required. Heating times should be reduced for microwaves with higher power ratings. For cold use, place the pack in the freezer for up to 2 hours before use. Always wrap in a cloth or protective sleeve before applying to the skin and use in short intervals for no longer than 20 minutes.
