...Howdy Pardner restaurant was only around for 10 years. Opened on June 23, 1952, it was famous for it's rooftop stage. Radio stations would broadcast from the roof. Fashion shows, bands, dancers would grace the stage in the sky. The building later became the Great American Sandwich Factory and a One-Hour Photo.
