Vintage artisan turned wooden bud vase with glass insert.

This unique studio piece features a striking translucent emerald green dye that allows the natural maple wood grain to show through beautifully.

The lower bulbous base is accented with incised black lines and carved dot patterns.

A critical feature of this vase is the removable glass test-tube liner inside. This insert protects the solid wood interior from moisture, allowing you to confidently display fresh-cut live flowers with water, or dry floral stems.

Origin & Identification: The underside of the base is hand-signed by the woodturner with the artist's initials "G.E.W." and explicitly notes the wood type, "MAPLE."

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The wood finish retains a great color with no cracks or scratches. The original glass insert is clean and fully intact without chips. (Please see all photos for details).
