I have for sale an E-Boat Offshore One Design 22 ft
Original gelcoat. The hull does not require any work and is genuinely in very good condition. The antifouling is still in good condition.
The upper deck requires cleaning, but the boat could already be used for a test sail.
Some time ago I removed the old headlining from below deck and it would be worth fitting a new one if you plan to sleep on the boat. If you only plan to use it for day sailing, there is no need. In any case, it will be up to you to decide what is worth doing to make it comfortable.
The boat only requires some tidying-up work before launching and is ready for the water at any time.
Premium deck hardware included in the sale:
Sails:
- Great mainsail, still very crisp, as it was always stored in a sail bag after sailing and kept in a dry place.
- Jib on roller furling. In my opinion it requires attention. This is one of the few negatives, but it can be replaced with other sails included in the package.
- Genoa - good condition, should last for several more seasons.
- Storm jib - also in very good condition.
General boat description:
The lifting keel and relatively low weight make the boat easy to tow on a trailer.
The trailer shown in the photos is not included in the sale, but I can lend it against a deposit so that you can transport the boat after purchase.
The trailer and outboard engine are not included in the sale. However, I can include the trailer for an additional £200. It is not the original boat trailer but has been professionally and solidly modified by my welder friend. It does the job perfectly well.
If you buy the boat, I can also include a Mercury 5HP 4-stroke outboard engine, in very good condition, for just £550.
There are berths for 4 people.
General specifications from SailboatData:
LOA: 22 ft / 6.70 m
Beam: 2.77 m
Displacement: 1,087 kg
Ballast: 318 kg
Max Draft: 1.40 m
Min Draft: 0.25 m
Summary of the negatives:
- The jib requires attention.
- The bow anchor roller was light damaged during strong winds while the boat was at anchor. Because of this I do not have an anchor chain, but I will include a spare anchor together with a suitably long rope.
- Below deck would benefit from refreshing. The wooden elements could be painted, although this is not essential. The old headlining/carpet has been removed.
- The cockpit, despite still having its original gelcoat, requires cleaning and possibly polishing.
Please note that the boat is genuinely in good condition, but it has not been in the water for the last two years. I recommend inspecting it before launching.
Nothing is missing that would prevent it from being launched. There is no structural damage, but please remember that this is not a new boat.
The boat is easy to transport on a trailer thanks to its partially lifting ballast keel. This should not be confused with lightweight inland boats fitted with a retractable centreboard. This is a proper offshore sailing yacht with the appropriate certification, combining good towing practicality with the stability and safety of a ballasted keel.
The trailer shown in the photographs is not included in this auction. However, I can lend it against a refundable deposit for transporting the boat after purchase, or I may be willing to sell it separately.
