This is vintage Esmond cotton blanket type robe from the 1920's or 30's.  It is single breasted, with vintage mother-of-pearl buttons.  There is a small shawl collar, and front patch pockets.  The pattern is a wonderful Art Deco abstract.  There is a spot in front on the left side that is a bit bare of nap. (see photos)

 The tie at the waist is original, but the ends are a little frayed. (see photo)   Comes from a smoke free home.
