ANTIQUE ITALIAN MURANO CRYSTAL CHANDELIER SILVERED BRONZE VENICE c1900 8 LIGHT

Offered is this elegant 8-light Italian crystal chandelier, dating from around 1900–1920.

The chandelier was most likely crafted in the Venice / Murano region and is distinguished by its graceful proportions, exquisite crystal decoration and beautifully silvered metal frame. A particularly charming feature is the series of original blue glass connectors incorporated into the crystal chains—an uncommon detail that is characteristic of fine Italian lighting from the period.

The body is richly decorated with numerous hand-cut crystal prisms, large baroque pendants and a magnificent faceted central crystal column that reflects the light beautifully from every angle. The silvered finish creates an elegant contrast with the sparkling crystal, giving the chandelier a refined and timeless appearance.

Despite its impressive height, the chandelier remains remarkably slender, making it ideal for entrance halls, staircases, dining rooms or elegant living spaces.

Condition description

The chandelier is in very good antique condition with a beautiful age-related patina. The crystal prisms are clean and brilliant, and the chandelier is fully functional with only minor signs of age consistent with its period.

All chandeliers are professionally cleaned and carefully inspected. Restoration work is carried out when necessary to preserve the original character and quality.

The chandeliers are in very good condition.

Standard screw socket bulbs can be used, including LED, energy-saving or halogen bulbs (according to the socket type stated in the listing).

The electrics are suitable for worldwide use. After purchase, I will gladly provide country-specific information if required.

For safety reasons, all chandeliers and lamps should be installed by a qualified electrician.
