Attic Babies are a line of handcrafted primitive folk art dolls created by Marty Maschino of Cushing/Drumright, Oklahoma. The dolls are made from tea-stained muslin and are designed to look like treasured old rag dolls discovered in an attic. Each has its own whimsical name and personality, and they became a huge success in the gift and collectible market during the late 1980s and 1990s.
This particular doll has no original hang tag so not sure if her name but she was #26. She has red woolen hair tied up with a country print head scarf / headband. She wears a dress and pinafore apron with bloomers underneath. Her outfit is finished off with slouchy socks and Mary Jane shoes.
