Item Description:
Vintage 2001 Danbury Mint Michael Jordan Lifetime Achievement Statue Promo Mailer.
Up for sale is a rare, authentic piece of vintage 2001 sports marketing history: the original Danbury Mint direct-mail promotional advertisement packet for the high-end Michael Jordan "Lifetime Achievement" 4-Figure Commemorative Display.
Mailed between late 2000 and mid-2001, this complete packet is a phenomenal companion piece or historical archive for any serious Air Jordan collection.
THE COMPLETE PACKET INCLUDES:
  1. Outer Envelope: Features the iconic Jumpman silhouette logo on the front left with the script: “Own the ultimate tribute to Michael Jordan. Details inside…”. Shows a minor storage bend on the upper right corner (RUC) which did not penetrate to the contents. Features the original Danbury Mint presort postage-paid embossed block.
  2. Brochure (Mint): A beautiful 8.5" x 11" color folder that opens into a spectacular 3-page fold-out display showcasing the four milestones of Jordan's career (1985 Rookie, 1991 First Championship, 1995 Comeback #45, and the 1998 Last Shot) surrounding a wooden basketball hoop stand.
  3. Cover Letter & Order Form (Mint): The original promotional introductory letter and the untouched installment billing order voucher.
  4. Return Envelope (Mint): The clean, un-mailed Danbury Mint return envelope.
  5. Grade: Mint Condition (Internal Contents) / Very Good (Outer Envelope). Because you opened it cleanly and immediately stashed it away, the 3-page high-gloss color fold-out display brochure, promotional cover letter, order voucher form, and return envelope are in flawless, pristine condition. The bend on the upper right corner (RUC) of the outer envelope acts merely as a shield and does not impact the internal paperwork.
  6. Demand: Niche but Highly Passionate. Paper advertisements from this era are highly sought after by completionists. Specifically, collectors who currently own the actual $200+ Danbury Mint 4-figure statue display actively hunt for this exact original paperwork package to complete their display shelves and prove its historical authenticity.
An awesome, time-capsule piece of oddball paper memorabilia that perfectly complements the actual physical figurine display.
SHIPPING NOTE: To ensure the pristine internal folds and cardboard edges suffer absolutely zero bending, creasing, or crushing from automated postal sorting machines, this packet will be securely sandwiched between rigid cardboard backing sheets and shipped flat inside a solid outer cardboard box via USPS Ground Advantage.
