Obverse: DN VALENTINIANVS P F AVG PF AVG--translation: "Dominus Noster Valentinian Pius Felix Augustus" (Our Lord Valentinian pius happy Augustus),
Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right.
Reverse: SECVRITAS REIPVBLICAE ~ Unabridged legend: Securitas Reipublicae ~
Translation: The safety of the State; D over Symbol 3 in RIC resembles R with a long upward stroke in left field - F in right field / Siscia mint mark in exergue (Γ=3rd Officina).
