This is a vintage Roamer Super Shock 17 Jewels Swiss manual-wind wristwatch, most likely dating from the late 1950s to early 1960s.

Roamer is a respected Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 1888 by Fritz Meyer. The company became well known for producing reliable mechanical watches with in-house movements. The Super Shock range featured enhanced shock protection for the movement, making these watches more durable than many of their contemporaries. Although this example is not currently running, Roamer watches remain popular with collectors and watch restorers for their quality Swiss engineering.
