Tom Baker’s Doctor is defined by his unpredictable, bohemian, and wildly eccentric nature. 

He combined a warm, childlike curiosity with a sharp intellect and sudden flashes of dark, brooding intensity. 

Famous for offering adversaries a Jelly Baby, he famously embodied the philosophy that "there's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish".

He often played the fool, disguising his genius behind madcap behavior and a wandering, eccentric gaze. He rarely took authority figures seriously, frequently mocking them while wearing his iconic, incredibly long, multi-coloured scarf.
