Sedeveria ‘Blue Mist’ is a beautiful hybrid succulent. As the plant matures you can expect it to reach up to around 8 cm (3.4″) in diameter. The plant has beautiful blue fleshy leaves that give the plant this unique desirable look. When it flowers you can expect it to produce bell-shaped orange-pink flowers.

🌵 Potting up your Succulents 🌵

The goal with this ‘soil’ is to improve the drainage as much as possible. These plants come from arid areas of the world where the soil is sandy and water is scarce.

The mix I use is equal parts compost, grit and sharp sand, or perlite (1:1:1)

1 part equal mix of John Innes No 2 or a low nutrient seed sowing medium.

1 part Horticultural Sharp Sand.

1 part Horticultural potting Grit.

To test how well the mixture drains, wet it, then squeeze it in your hand. If it falls apart, you have a mixture that succulents love 🪴
