A remarkable piece of mid-century tobaccoriana history, this straight Billiard-style pipe features a distinctively craggy, deeply rusticated African hardwood outer bowl with a rich dark cocoa finish.

The inner bowl is reinforced with a genuine Amboseli block meerschaum lining, engineered for a remarkably cool, sweet, and dry smoke. The left side of the rugged shank features a distinct debossed "KILIMANJARO" hallmark, while the opposite side is stamped with a highly collectible, historical "MADE IN TANGANYIKA" country-of-origin mark, precisely dating its manufacture between 1955 and 1964. The long, tapered black stem is inlaid with the signature white rhinoceros logo. This estate piece has been meticulously fully restored, sweetening the bowl for immediate use, and the exterior has been professionally conditioned to highlight the rich depth of the rusticated wood.
