Hazeltine had a summer home in Yosemite National Park.  He entered into business with John James Reilly in June 1876, becoming the primary photography studio for Yosemite Valley.  Kilburn Brothers (Littleton New Hampshire) published Hazeltine images without crediting him as photographer.
