■ The standard model of the Suzuki Chromatic Harmonica, suitable for everyone from beginners to professional players.

It offers excellent value for the price, so it’s recommended for anyone who wants to try playing the chromatic harmonica.

■High airtightness achieved through precision-machined parts ensures a quick response despite the resin body.

The tone is light and has a spacious, expansive sound.

The slides feature a long stroke (cross configuration).

Because the travel distance is long, the blow holes are larger, allowing for a greater airflow. This results in quick attack and clear projection, producing a particularly powerful sound in the lower register.

This model features 16 holes and 64 notes across 4 octaves.

■Suzuki’s chromatic harmonicas are “Made in Japan” with a commitment to quality.

Since chromatic harmonicas consist of many parts, they are prone to air leaks; however, Suzuki has eliminated this issue through its unique design—which minimizes the number of parts—and advanced manufacturing techniques.

With no air leaks and excellent tone, plus improved post-performance maintenance, playing and caring for the instrument is completely stress-free.

■The chromatic harmonica is a versatile instrument used in a wide range of genres, including classical, jazz, and pop.

As the name suggests, it can be played using the complete chromatic scale, making it suitable for any song.

The arrangement of notes, which is based on the C major scale, can be switched almost entirely to the C# scale—one semitone higher—with a simple operation of the slide lever. In its normal state, the harmonica produces the notes of a piano’s white keys; pressing the lever produces the notes of the piano’s black keys, which are a semitone higher.
