Description A stunning antique solid sterling silver & guilloche enamel box, most probably Japanese in origin, in excellent clean condition and dating from around 1910 - 1920. Superb quality, with a hinged lid and is all-over decorated with a beautiful undamaged coloured enamelling with attractive raised silver wirework borders. Measures approx 3.1 inches (79mm) x 2.45 inches (60mm) and is 0.5 inches (13mm) deep. Weighs a heavy 74 grams and there are no added personal engraved inscriptions or monograms. A very fine silver box. 

Date Antique solid silver, almost certainly Japanese is origin, stamped with a high "1000" grade pure silver hallmark, (higher than "925" Sterling), 100% guaranteed antique silver and it dates from around 1910 - 1920.
  
Condition Excellent clean condition with no splits or repairs, definitely no wear holes and no knocks or dents, a lovely genuine antique example and very fine quality. The hinged silver lid still works perfectly and the lid opens and closes tightly and securely and most importantly the beautiful coloured enamelling is also in excellent condition, even around the sides, with no apparent loss/damage. Has not been cleaned/polished, with leave the buyer to decide that, the enamelling has age dirt and would definitely benefit from a clean. Superb silver box, with a good heavy silver weight and is free from personal inscriptions.
