This elegant Chinese pear-shaped (yuhuchun) porcelain vase features classic blue and white hand-painted brushwork in traditional oriental flower-and-bird painting style.
The smooth pale celadon white glaze is decorated with vivid cobalt blue patterns, depicting chrysanthemum branches, wild birds, rockery and soft misty background, with layered ink wash shading that creates a serene natural garden scene.
The slender straight tall neck connects the full bulbous pear body, and the bottom foot ring is decorated with a continuous blue decorative band of stylized floral scrolls.

Special Note on Body Indentations

There are several slight natural clay indent dents on the vase’s neck and body. These are NOT damage or defects. They are natural texture marks formed from raw clay contact during the ancient ceramic firing process, characteristic of traditional hand-thrown porcelain, adding authentic vintage texture to the piece.
