【Over-Discharge Protection】

When the battery drains down to 3.0V, the protection circuit cuts off output automatically to stop further discharge and prevent over-damage from over-discharging.

【Over-Charge Protection】

During charging, once cell voltage hits the upper limit of 4.2V, the protection circuit automatically cuts charging current, marking full charge and avoiding overcharging damage.

【Short-Circuit Protection】

Upon short-circuit fault, the protection circuit shuts down within milliseconds and locks off automatically. Note: If the battery is hard-shorted to bypass the protection circuit, prolonged overcurrent or component overheating may still break the protection board.

【Storage & Usage Guide】

For long-term storage, keep the battery charged between 40%~60%. We recommend top-up charging every 3 months after receipt to maintain cell voltage at 3.7–4.0V, and store the battery in a cool, dry environment.

 

1. Charging Specifications

1.1 Charging Current

Max charging current shall not exceed 2A. Over-rated charging current damages charge/discharge performance and mechanical stability, triggers excess heat or electrolyte leakage.

1.2 Charging Voltage

Max charging voltage is capped at 4.2V; your charger must comply with this rating. Exceeding nominal voltage causes performance degradation, overheating or liquid leakage.

1.3 Charging Ambient Temperature

Charge within the below temperature range:
  • 0℃ ~ 10℃: Max charge rate 0.2C, cut-off voltage 4.1V
  • 10℃ ~ 45℃: Max charge rate 0.5C, cut-off voltage 4.2V

1.4 Reverse Charging Prohibited

Strictly avoid positive/negative pole reverse connection. Reverse wiring blocks charging, degrades cell performance & safety, and leads to heat buildup and leakage.

2. Discharging Specifications

2.1 Discharge Current

Max continuous discharge current ≤2A. High-current deep discharge drastically reduces capacity and causes overheating.

2.2 Discharge Ambient Temperature

Discharge between -10℃ ~ 60℃ ambient temperature.

2.3 Prevent Over-Discharge During Idle

Self-discharge may drain the battery into over-damaged status during long idle periods. Recharge regularly to keep voltage at 3.7V~3.9V; over-discharge permanently impairs cell capacity and functionality.
