RARE MULTI-COLOR HOUR NUMBERS ON THIS PORCELAIN DIAL…NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE ON A WATCH FROM THE 1800’s  ! ! ! ! ….…..Vintage STERLING SILVER antique 1800’s Multi-Color Porcelain Dial JW pendant watch / pocket watch pocketwatch in a fully hinged Sterling Silver case with a beautiful engraved design.  This watch was design to be worn around your neck on a slide chain necklace as they did in Victorian times, OR you could carry it as a pocketwatch.  This early watch is all original.

DIAL: Fancy MULTI-COLOR ROMAN HOUR NUMBERS PORCELAIN DIAL….This dial has fancy GOLD & GREENISH BLUE Roman hour numbers, gold dot in between them, outer black minute track, and early blued steel hands. 

 

CASE:  The case top, middle, and caseback have a deeply engraved beautiful Victorian design.  There is a fancy Pre-Victorian - Victorian shield design on the outside of the caseback too.  Caseback has NO personal engraving and NO wear through spots. Signed on the inside of the caseback with hallmarks:  lion facing left ,  anchor ,  m  ,  JW  ,  30127 .  Signed on the inside of the hinged dust cover:  JW ,  lion facing left ,  m  ,  30127 .    

 

SIZE:   38mm across.  54.5mm from top-to-bottom. 

MOVEMENT: Well made high grade antique mechanical gilt gold movement with gold balance.   

   

CONDITION: This watch does not run.  The balance seems good.  Needs cleaned and repaired as it has been sitting for a very long time.
