## Vintage Hand-Painted Japanese 3-Compartment Divided Covered Tureen Dish


Up for sale is a charming, highly unique mid-century porcelain covered condiment tureen / serving dish made in Japan by Shiba. This piece is styled in a beautiful clover shape and stands on ornate, figural animal-headed feet that gracefully wrap upwards to serve as side handles.


The exterior features vivid hand-painted magenta/pink floral bouquets framed by rich burgundy accents and elegant heavy gold gilding on the handles, feet, and rim. The interior splits cleanly into three equal compartments, making it a perfect functional showpiece for serving nuts, dips, relishes, or candies.

Note on Lid Handle: There is a tight hairline crack running through the top medallion of the lid's loop handle (as pictured in the close-up photo5). The handle remains structurally intact, sturdy, and completely functional, but it is present and priced accordingly.
