PoE Power Requirements: This is a high-density tri-band Wi-Fi 6E device. To enable all three frequency bands (including 6 GHz) and both mGig ethernet ports, **high-power 802.3bt UPOE/PoE++ or 802.3at PoE+ is required**. Booting the unit on standard 802.3af PoE will disable the 6 GHz radio and downgrade network interfaces.
Mounting Bracket & Accessories Not Included: This listing includes the access point unit ONLY. The metal ceiling/wall mounting bracket plate (e.g. AIR-AP-BRACKET-1) and power supplies/PoE injectors are not included and must be sourced separately.
Controller Setup Required: This is a lightweight enterprise access point. It requires an active connection to a Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless Controller or local EWC environment to function. It does not work as a standalone consumer home router.
We guarantee this access point boots successfully, updates firmware, and connects to controllers under standard testing guidelines for 30 days from delivery.
Access points are securely wrapped in bubble protective layers and shipped in rigid boxes to eliminate any transport shock to the internal antennas.
