History

Wanderer was a German manufacturer founded in the late 19th century, initially producing bicycles before expanding into motorcycles and automobiles. The 1904 Wanderer represents one of the company’s earliest motor vehicles and reflects the pioneering era of European motoring. In the 1970s and 1980s, the Polish cooperative Estetyka Spółdzielnia Pracy in Warsaw produced a popular series of miniature historic automobile models, each supplied in colourful illustrated boxes. These models have become collectible examples of Eastern European toy manufacturing and automotive history.
