Beautiful vintage MCM fused glass ashtray from the "Barbaric Jewels" series by Higgins Glass.  The ashtray is made from a smoked glass in a square shape with colorful glass gem accents fused into a 22k gold sunburst medallion design.  Was  created by Michael and Francis Higgins.  Piece measures roughly 5.5 by 6 inches across and 1 inch tall.  I have looked over the piece for chips and cracks and nothing was found, there was some minor wear to the gold on the inside of the ashtray.
