📦 You receive everything shown in the photos – ready to install right out of the box.
Installation Instructions
Flush the new filter – Before installing, run water through the filter for 30-60 seconds to remove any loose carbon particles (this is normal for new activated carbon filters).
Remove your existing shower head – Unscrew it from the shower arm or hose.
Wrap the threads – Apply the included PTFE tape clockwise around the shower arm threads for a watertight seal.
Place an O-ring – Insert one rubber O-ring into the filter's inlet (where it connects to the shower arm).
Screw on the filter – Hand-tighten the filter onto the shower arm. Do not overtighten.
Add the second O-ring – Place the remaining O-ring into the filter's outlet (where your shower head connects).
Attach your shower head – Screw your existing shower head onto the filter. Hand-tighten only.
Test for leaks – Turn on water and check connections. If leaks occur, gently tighten further by hand.

⚠️ Important Notes
Filter Life: The cartridge lasts approximately 3-4 months under normal use. If you notice decreased water flow or a return of chlorine smell, it's time to replace the cartridge.
Initial Flush: Always flush the filter before first use to remove any loose carbon fines from manufacturing. This is normal and does not indicate a defect.
Water Quality: Filtration effectiveness depends on your incoming water quality. In areas with extremely hard water or high sediment, filter life may be shorter.
Not for Use With: This filter is designed for shower use only. Not suitable for drinking water or whole-house filtration.
