beautiful vintage stoneware planter or vase, believed to be from the Denby Langley Sycamore range designed by Glyn Colledge during the 1960s.
The piece features the distinctive Sycamore geometric pattern with olive green, black and white decoration and stands on a pedestal foot. It makes an excellent Mid-Century Modern decorative piece and is equally suitable as a planter, vase or standalone display item.
This example is unmarked to the base. Some genuine pieces from this range are known to have been produced without factory marks, therefore it is being sold as believed to be “Denby Langley Sycamore”. but no guarantees of its origin, however other identical examples online listed as “Langley sycamore” had no back-stamps either.
Approximate dimensions:
* Height: 20 cm
* Diameter: 12 cm

Good vintage condition overall. No obvious chips or cracks noted.
A lovely and increasingly hard-to-find Mid-Century Modern piece that would suit collectors of Denby, Glyn Colledge ceramics or Scandinavian-inspired British studio pottery.
