Antique French Bronze and Etched Glass 2-Light Hanging Hall Lantern, circa 1900
An elegant antique French hanging hall lantern dating from around 1900.
The lantern features a substantial hexagonal bronze frame fitted with clear glass panels. Delicate starburst motifs cut or etched into the glass catch and reflect the light beautifully. Two candle-style lights illuminate the lantern from within and emphasize its tall, architectural form.
The naturally aged bronze finish, restrained classical detailing and original period character make this an attractive statement light for an entrance hall, foyer, staircase, library or other traditional interior.

CONDITION
Very good antique condition with age-appropriate wear, surface marks and natural patina to the bronze. The etched glass panels are intact, and the lantern is in working condition. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
ELECTRICAL INFORMATION
The lantern has two candle-style sockets and can be supplied for E14 or E12 bulbs, depending on the destination. Please contact me before purchasing to confirm the required socket type.
Electrical standards and installation requirements vary between countries. Inspection and installation by a qualified electrician are recommended before use. Please use bulbs suitable for your local voltage.
Two matching lanterns are currently available. The listed price is for one lantern unless otherwise stated.

Standard light bulbs, LED bulbs, energy-saving lamps or halogen bulbs with screw sockets are suitable as light sources. The Chandeliers and the electrics can be used worlwide. After purchase I will send you further country-specific information. All chandeliers/lamps should always be connected by a qualified electrician.
