This is the complete, original 3-page carbon-copy typewritten ceremony script (СЦЕНАРИЙ) from Secondary School No. 24. It is dated exactly one month before the August Coup that shattered the Soviet Union. As the hall stood decorated with the flag of the Ukrainian SSR, the tape player queued the Anthem of the USSR for what would be one of its final official airings.
