Created by the celebrated mangaka Yamimaru Enjin, this English-translated edition was published by Tokyopop's premier vintage imprint, BLU Manga, in 2007 and 2008. Both books are verified True First Printings containing the full numbers line grid on their internal copyright registries.

The storyline follows Shinichiro, a junior high school student who accidentally discovers that a moody, brilliant college mathematics professor named Narusawa possesses the hidden ability to understand and communicate directly with animals. Hoping to master the skill to help his ailing dog, Shinichiro begins visiting Narusawa’s home. Accompanied by Narusawa's highly intelligent multilingual black cat, Acht, a deep emotional connection and a slow-burn romance steadily blossom between the two.
