An attractive antique Victorian silver brooch featuring a faceted citrine centre stone in a decorative open setting.

The brooch is designed with a geometric starburst border, originally decorated with turquoise and deep blue enamel. Much of the enamel has worn away over time, but the remaining detail still gives a strong impression of the original design.

The central stone has been tested with a Presidium gem tester and reads consistent with citrine (quartz). The high-domed cut and setting are typical of late 19th century jewellery.

Stylistically, the piece shows a blend of influences. The citrine centre reflects the popular Scottish “Cairngorm” style, while the enamelled geometric decoration is more typical of Continental European craftsmanship.

Please note:
The pin is loose and does not stay securely closed. It will require repair or adjustment before regular wear.

A decorative antique piece with strong visual appeal, suitable for collectors, restoration, or display.

Ideal for collectors, resellers, or those looking for an authentic period jewellery piece with character.
