Pair of antique Japanese Imari porcelain plates, dating from the late Edo.

Featuring a rich red ground with gilt floral scrollwork, traditional Imari reserves of birds and pine, and a central medallion in cobalt underglaze blue. The reverse is decorated with red floral scrolls and a four-character mark 冨貴長春 (Fuki Choshun), meaning “Eternal Spring, Wealth, and Honor.”

These export-style Imari plates are hand-painted with a vivid palette and fine detail. A decorative and collectible pair ideal for period styling, prop use, or study.

Both plates have multiple rim chips and edge roughness (see close-up photos), along with minor surface wear consistent with age and handling. Still display beautifully.
