Unlike many examples found on the market, this chair combines different materials and craftsmanship techniques. The impressive central lion mask is hand carved from solid wood, while the two ram heads are cast metal mounts, creating a dramatic and highly unusual visual effect.
The chair further benefits from beautifully executed barley twist uprights, carved foliate details, moulded edges and a wonderfully aged solid oak seat displaying decades of character and patina.
