This is a superb silver / gold gilt antique Saint Bernard dog show medal, to the front it is inscribed "Presented By D Macgregor Esq. For Best St Bernard Dog or Bitch Won By Mr John Morris, Minnie" to the rear it is inscribed "Perthshire Canine Society 1887" this is a very large ornate medal with an ornate suspension loop to the top and to the rear is also a clasp so it can be worn as a brooch, the medal is approx. 3" high x 2" wide, it is in superb condition in its original large fitted case, the case is approx. 4.5" x 3"
