Description
Vintage Yamaha FG-180 – Classic Big Sound from Japan's Golden Era
The Yamaha FG-180 is one of the most iconic Japanese acoustic guitars ever made. Originally introduced in the 1960s as one of Japan's first mass-produced acoustic guitars, the FG-180 became a staple during the folk music boom of the 1970s and remains highly sought after by players and collectors today.
Despite its laminated construction, the FG-180 delivers the powerful, warm, and sweet "big sound" that has made this model legendary. Its rich mahogany character and impressive volume are qualities that many players believe cannot be fully replicated by modern manufacturing techniques.
