Antique Chinese Guangxu Famille Rose Vase, Signed Dai Shoushan, Ladies & Children Motif

late Qing Guangxu (1875–1908) famille rose vase, painted by artist Dai Shoushan, dated 1876 Bingzi year. Plate-mouth form with dual sculpted longevity peach fruit handles on neck.

Decoration

• Front: Hand-painted scene of court ladies & playing children with banana leaves, symbolic of happy family & prosperous descendants. Soft pastel mineral pigments, fine figure painting.

• Reverse: Matching poetic calligraphy, artist signature with red seal; neck has red "blessing" seal characters.

• Base: Underglaze red square mark, unglazed foot with natural age patina.

Condition: 

• Defect: One sculpted peach handle on neck has visible chip/loss, partial leaf & fruit glaze missing.

• No body cracks, no repairs, no other chips. Minor faint paint fading consistent with antique age. All photos record exact condition, sold as found.
