DESCRIPTION – Very nice example of the Rainbow Hawk-Eye Special 2A Folding Camera with lizard-patterned covering manufactured by Eastman Kodak from 1930 to 1933. The camera was designed to produce 2 ½ x 4 ¼ inch exposures on 116 roll film. Sold for display purposes.
To enhance sales, Eastman Kodak produced colored versions of
a number of the folding cameras in the 1920s and 1930s. In some series, the color black was included
in the line-up and tends to be less common than the other colors.
