Elegant 1960s Champagne Empire Waist Formal Prom Evening Gown Size Small

This timeless champagne-colored satin formal was a prize when it was worn in the 1960s, and would be so again today. Intricate piping on the empire bodice demands attention as does the sleek design overall. Expertly constructed of a heavy satin, the empire bodice is lined, and it appears an alteration has left enough seam allowance for one to let it out an inch. The label indicates it was marketed by Cotillion Formals.

What appear to be discolorations in the photos are shadows caused by "dents" in the fabric. There are no discernable stains or discoloration inside or outside.

This garment is overstock from the wardrobe collection of Boise Little Theater, the oldest continuously running community theater in Idaho. As part of our stock, it was pre-owned by a patron of the theater, prior to its addition to our wardrobe. It may (or may not) have appeared on stage, and as such, may show wear consistent with its prior life. We have attempted to describe or show any visible flaws.
