Here it is, the day all you veedubbers have been waiting for. Finally, a quality replacement caliper for your original ATE that doesnt require a custom brake kit or caliper bracket to run. These bolt right up to your original spindles and work with your factory brakes but give you the looks and performance of Wilwood. These are made right here in the US of A, so instead of fooling around with rebuilding your original calipers or trying to replace them with a Chinese caliper that will probably end up leaking or falling apart, these are made to work, and last, like your originals.

The Wilwood DynaPro billet caliper is the is a further enhancement of Wilwood's newest generation of calipers available as an upgrade or replacement for applications previously using ATE OE 2 piston calipers used on 1967 to 1978 Volkswagen Beetle and Karmann Ghia. The calipers combine superior strength with design and performance enhancements to make these one of the best and lightest OE replacement calipers ever. Utilizing easily sourced 6812 pads that are available in Street to High Temperature Racing compounds, further enhance the calipers utility. Calipers are fully CNC machined from premium grade alloy billet. The FEA generated body design incorporates a fortified transition between the piston housings and the bridges. Strengthening this critical area has substantially increased its resistance to deflection and body separation under load. Reductions in overall deflection, and the subsequent decreases in fluid volume displacement, translate to increased clamping efficiency with less pedal travel. Uses 1.62" (41mm) bore heavy wall stainless steel pistons to resist corrosion and slow the heat transfer from the pads. The heavy wall sectional thickness improves pedal firmness and adds to the overall clamping efficiency by eliminating piston backside deflection.

Calipers are fitted with replaceable stainless steel SRS bridge plates. SRS plates eliminate bridge wear caused by pad gouging. The spring-loading action of the SRS plates eliminates pad rattle and dampens the vibration harmonics that contribute to squeal during engagement. The package is completed with internal fluid passages and four corner bleed screws that allow mounting in any front, rear, left, or right side position.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Orders over $599 will be sent out with signature required. You will need to sign for all of your packages, or they will be returned to sender, and will require additional shipping charges.

Most items (unless noted in the handling time) ship from our warehouse within 4-5 business days from the business day your payment is received and processed in our system. Orders placed Friday and through the weekend will be processed Monday (excluding Holidays).

Once your order is processed and shipped from our warehouse you will receive an email with your tracking information.

We ship via UPS and FedEx and for small packages we us USPS.

We only ship to a confirmed PayPal shipping address.

All Will Call orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance for pickup from the showroom, including in showroom or parking lot orders. Local pickup is available upon request. A matching ID, which must correspond to the name on the PayPal payment, is mandatory for picking up items. Will Call orders will not be released and will be refused if the person and ID do not match the PayPal payment. Local pick up requires a 24hr processing time before pick up. We will notify you when the parts are ready for pick up.
