The Stereo Graphic viewer certainly has one the most innovative design and best box compared to other 1950s stereo viewers I have seen.
The viewer offers interocular adjustment (metal knob on the right side), focusing (red knob on right side). The light switch (red color) is located at the bottom.
To put batteries just remove the two screws at the bottom. This allows access to the light compartment. The viewer takes a pair of D size batteries and a standard 2.5V light bulb.
What makes the viewer special is that the front part can be removed and the viewer can be used with available light. The advantage of using the viewer with available light is that it is much lighter and easier to pack/carry.
The viewer comes with the original bulb and operates on a pair of size D batteries (not included). I recommend the LED bulb as an upgrade, for sale on my ebay store. This LED bulb will work with all stereo viewers, and it is a quick way to upgrade your viewer.
Overall, this is a fine and overlooked viewer. I liked it, and so will you!
