A beautiful and very old solid wood chest of drawers with fantastic character and age-related patina throughout.

Constructed entirely from solid wood, this piece is extremely sturdy and remains in very good usable condition. Over its long life, a number of historical repairs have been carried out, adding to its authenticity and charm.

As expected from a genuinely old piece, there are signs of age including minor movement and slight warping to some timber joints, which is typical of antique solid wood furniture. These do not affect the strength or functionality of the piece.

The rich dark wood grain, hand-crafted construction and unusual curved drawer fronts make this a highly decorative and practical item for any period, rustic, farmhouse or country interior.
