The Audi A4 DTM is a silhouette touring car manufactured by Audi Sport for use in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) from 2004 to 2011. Developed to replace the Abt Audi TT-R DTM, the car was produced in six iterations, codenamed R11, R12, R12 plus, R13, R14 and R14 plus from 2004 to 2009. As with most race cars the A4 DTM was built on a carbon fiber monocoque and body; it is powered by a 4.0L V8, allegedly based on the Mugen MF308 to lower costs, mated to a 6-speed manual, with the engine carried over from the previous TT-R DTM car. A highly successful car, the A4 DTM won 35 races, achieved 3 constructors' championships and 5 drivers' championships.

The initial livery of the casting takes elements from a number of different versions of the Audi A4 DTM although it appears to be largely based on the A4 DTM driven by Timo Scheider in the 2009 DTM season.
