The host bus adapter 9400-16i by LSI / Broadcom lets you increase the number of hard drives connected to your server or workstation. The HBA has a PCIe x8 3.0 interface as well as 8 internal ports for SATA or SAS drives via 2x miniSAS SFF-8643 ports. The maximum data transfer rate is 12 GBps. It is universally compatible with all known brands. The HBA is flashed to the latest IT mode firmware for use with ZFS systems like Proxmox, TrueNAS, unRaid, etc.. Delivery includes full and low profile brackets for installation.
