Vintage Simplicity 5247 sewing pattern from 1972 creates a stylish unlined shirt-jacket and pants set in misses' and half-sizes. The shirt-jacket features a front button closing, yoke, notched collar, patch pockets, set-in sleeves, and side slits with optional top-stitching and a purchased belt. The coordinating pants are designed with a back zipper, waistband, and optional purchased belt. This 10-piece pattern is ideal for lightweight wool, flannel, gabardine, tweed, or double knit fabrics to capture that classic 70s aesthetic.
NOTE, the flap on this envelope is missing. I have another copy of the pattern and it has the pattern number, the size, and an ad for Simplicity magazine from the 70s.
