Chinese wood red lacquer box, produced 1850–1940 (Late Qing to Republic of China). Hand gilt floral decoration, lid set with antique Qing blue & white lotus porcelain shard.

Condition: Lid fits properly. Shows antique wear: edge lacquer chips, faded gilding, fine body hairline; porcelain inlay complete and undamaged. Traditional use: seal paste box, small jewelry storage for antique Chinese desk collection.
