Ancient wooden shabti of the royal scribe Imhotep. This is a very rare piece. Either buried with very important Egyptian royals or worshipped at a later period during the new kingdom. Appears to be an overseer Shabti which means its most likely for burial purposes. The inscription reads Imhotep royal scribe. Inscriptions translated by victor soulkin, an Egyptologist, historian and a museologist. The item already has a lifetime guarantee by the previous dealer.
